Over the years I've made little changes in my daily routines that have helped me get healthier, lose weight, make and save money as well as improve my mental state:
WAKE UP AN HOUR EARLIER: Obviously with my radio show schedule this is something reserved for weekends. Do the math. That's 7 extra hours a week. It's almost like adding an eighth day to your week. You would be surprised how much this opens your world.
SOCIAL MEDIA BREAKS: When you wake up, don't grab for your phone to check emails or social media. This is YOUR quiet time. I was blown away by my results. I found myself getting more creative and really looking forward to the rest of the day.
EXERCISE: If you don't take care of your health you may as well call the rest of your life off. Doesn't matter your age. If you don't use it you WILL lose it. It's everything. Besides the obvious physical benefits you will find your mind getting healthier too. Plus it helps you sleep deeper.
GET A REGULAR SLEEP SCHEDULE: My biggest struggle. I now force myself to get at least 6 hours of sleep a night with a goal of 7. This also heals the brain and lowers stress levels as well as all your vitals.
DRINK WATER: With every meal. Just do it. I always have an iced YETI thermos with me at all times. There are so many health benefits to staying hydrated including better looking skin.
LEARN A NEW SKILL: There are apps to learn a new language, take an online real estate course or start that YouTube channel you've always wanted. Having something to fall back on not only earns you extra income but it also cuts down wanted stress. Plus it may give you ideas on how to diversify.
These are just a few things you can do right now that I guarantee will move your life forward.
